FAQs

Ethos.
We're a family run business, a small team, and we've been supplying whimsical products loosely based on a fairy theme since 2004. Fairygoodies is a trading name of our company, Fairyglass Ltd, and one of several brands that we either own or represent: we own the Fairygoodies and Fairy Dust brands, and we're the exclusive European distributor for Fiddlehead Fairy Gardens. Other brands that we represent include Personitas (worry dolls, wishing fairies and angels ethically made in Colombia), Tassie Design (ethically produced fairies and mermaids produced in Thailand) and Penfound Products (fairy doors and accessories made by hand in the UK).

We firmly believe in great customer service- we're a small business and we aim to treat our customers with the same respect we expect from those we purchase from. All orders are treated equally, so whether you're buying a single bottle of Fairy Dust or a wholesale order costing four figures we'll take the same care. By choice we only work with individuals, independent shops and small buying groups- we started life as a retailer.

Wholesale.
We supply independent gift retailers, florists, garden centres, holistic shops, toy shops, festival traders and more, throughout the UK, Ireland, and most of Europe, plus we've customers in Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the world too. If you're interested in becoming a stockist, please complete our trade application form and we'll get back to you shortly.
Delivery.
We aim to ship all orders placed before 12 noon on the same day. At busy times this isn't always possible, so if your order is urgent please call us to check current delivery times. Most retail orders ship by 2nd class post. We also offer a courier option for urgent orders which we prioritise and are usually delivered next working day. For our wholesale customers, we always use a courier, usually next working day.
Returns.
Retail: We accept returns as follows:
- If an item is unwanted, does not fit, you've had a change of heart: Please post the item back to us with a copy of the original delivery note enclosed. We will refund the cost of the goods, but not the postage. The item(s) must be in resaleable condition.
- If an item is damaged, defective, or otherwise supplied in a way that means it can't be used to its full extent: We will replace or refund in full for the item including any postage costs. Please contact us with details of the problem, and we'll resolve things for you quickly.
Wholesale: goods are sold as final sale and returns are generally not accepted apart from issues around damage. If you have a problem with any of our products, in the first instance please call or email and we'll try to resolve things to your satisfaction.
Data & Card Security
We are registered with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act. We do not, under any circumstances, share your data with any outside body, apart from where necessary to ensure prompt delivery via our courier. We rarely use data internally for marketing as we don't believe intrusive email marketing works, but we may on rare occasions send an information email. If we do this you will have a clear option to opt out.
Card payments are dealt with by a third party payment processor (Elavon, in partnership with Sagepay) and we do not, at any time, have access to your card details. Elavon uses industry standard 128-bit crypography and both they and ourselves are certified PCI compliant. If you prefer, you may call to pay us over the phone, or make a payment by bank transfer, Paypal, or personal cheque. If you use a cheque, we may hold the order until it's cleared before sending.
